Karo Nacho will be reborn on July 12th in a powerful trio format. She will be accompanied by the talented flutist Adelina Steinmetz and the great percussionist Hanser Santos Gómez, Karo will be in charge of the guitar, ukulele, and vocals.
The first song that Adelina ever performed on flute was "My Heart Will Go On" from the movie "Titanic". She has not stopped playing since.
Performing in various festivals such as le Syli D’Or and Nuits D’Afrique, Adelina dabbles in styles ranging from Argentine tango to Soul and R&B. She performs often in Montréal with her brazilian groupe, “Zabumbe”, and at venues such as Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill, Barbossa, and La Casona.
You can find her jamming at jazz shows, with salsa bands, in a rap video, and on other diverse scenes across Montréal.
Began his musical studies at six in Havana, Cuba, and by sixteen, he was performing professionally as a timpanist with the Sinfónica Juvenil of Amadeo Roldán Conservatory.
After graduating in 2007, he explored diverse styles, collaborating with Cuban artists, Berklee College of Music students, and international artists like Lisa Nordström (Sweden) and La Fura dels Baus (Spain).
He has toured Cuba, Colombia, and Canada with Opera de La Calle and won first place in the 2012 Festival Internacional del Tambor. Since 2014, he has been active in Montreal’s major festivals.
